High energy self generating CDI ignition, sparking starts at 150rpm.
The spark energy and the timing are produced by the stator coil. The exact advance curve is determined by the stator + CDI combination.
Available as 6v or 12v AC or DC battery charging. NOTE: AC types are recommended for maximum lighting efficiency and low maintenance as a battery is not fitted.
Utilises original Femsatronic rotor which has 4 magnetic poles.
Replaces original points sytem with cdi electronic ignition.
Electronic advance of 13 degrees is specifically developed to give the Sherpa smooth tractable power, ideal for trials.
Very easy to fit and set-up without the need for specialist engineering facilities.
High quality electroplating and stainless steel fittings (where possible) used for maximum corrosion protection.
